MEET SAPHIRA
VOYA officially sponsors Seal Rescue Ireland @sealrescueireland . This month we have adopted Saphira, our second grey seal pup of the season, who was lifted from Ballybunion, Co. Kerry on the 16th of September. After a couple of days of monitoring her on the beach, it was determined that two week old Saphira was an orphan, and that she was in need of rescuing. Saphira spent her first little while with us in the Intensive Care Unit while she was assessed and monitored. She is doing very well in the pools, Saphira will hopefully learn to compete well with other seals for food, and once she reaches around 45 kilos she will be ready to return to her ocean home!
