Competitive freediving is an amazing sport. We've dipped our toes in the basics, but there is an incredible amount of dedication and technical training that goes into being truly proficient at diving deep into the depths of the sea on a single breath. In order to do this, freedivers must train to physically condition their bodies and learn mental management techniques to handle the increasing pressure and time without O2, as CO2 builds up in their blood. . In 2015 she set a new national record in the pool discipline of dynamic no-fins (DNF) swim of 128 meters (420 feet) in 3 minutes and :07 seconds on a single breath!
