It is difficult to describe what makes the beach so special. Maybe it's the space: beaches are the dividing line between our often crowded terrestrial home and a vast expanse of emptiness. Maybe it's the tranquility: the sounds of the ocean and the rhythmic pattern of waves breaking on the shore are inherently soothing to our ears. Maybe it's the mystery: beaches are a gateway to the unknown, to an underwater world that humans collectively know very little about. Whatever the reason, beaches are arguably the greatest places on Earth and this week we want you to submit photos of them!
This week's winner gets tons of positive karma along with having their work showcased on our social media outlets. All entries must be submitted between now and Monday, November 2nd, at 12pm EST.
