Every week we ask you to help us #spreadthelust (STL) and get more people stoked about having a Waterlust state of mind. This week's contest is focused on the theme "waterfall”
Nowhere is the influence of gravity on water more visually dramatic than at a waterfall. Found most often in the upper sections of rivers, waterfalls are formed when water flows down a layered terrain with hard rock on the surface and soft rock below. The softer rock beneath erodes fastest, creating over hanging cliffs of hard rock, off of which the water makes it dramatic fall. This week, we want you to submit photos that capture this beautiful geological phenomenon in action!
This week's winner gets tons of positive karma along with having their work showcased on our social media outlets. All entries must be submitted between now and Monday, October 19th, at 12pm EST. They must contain the hashtags #STLwaterfall and #Waterlust to be eligible. Official rules are published at www.waterlust.org
