Every week we ask you to help us #spreadthelust (STL) and get more people stoked about having a Waterlust state of mind. This week's contest is focused on the theme "long exposure”
The concept of long exposure is twofold. On one hand, it can represent the dangers of braving the elements. Many of us are driven by the desire to explore and experience the extreme and unknown. However, we must be safe and fully realize the limits of our bodies, especially when exposed to cold weather and water. On the other hand, when considering a long exposure as a way to capture a moment from behind a lens, it transforms a photograph into a fluid and poetic medium to bring a liquid landscape to life. This week we want you to share images of the latter by experimenting with neutral density filters, telling a story through a long exposure image, and working with the water to help it visually move in a soft and graceful manner.
