Every week we ask you to help us #spreadthelust (STL) and get more people stoked about having a Waterlust state of mind. This week's contest is focused on the theme "I'm on a boat”
Boats, in some form or another are thought to have been around since prehistoric times! Despite generations of innovation and design improvements, all boats are fundamentally based on Archimedes Principle. A boat is buoyant if the mass of water it displaces is equal to the mass of the boat itself. If overloaded, a boat will sink (not good). If it is underloaded, it will float higher in the water and potentially become unstable (also not good). Proper boat design requires a delicate balance of physics to provide a stable and safe platform on which to explore our watery world. This week, we want you to submit photos from aboard a boat!
This week's winner gets tons of positive karma along with having their work showcased on our social media outlets. All entries must be submitted between now and Monday, June 29th at 12pm EST. They must contain the hashtags #STLimonaboat and #Waterlust to be eligible. Official rules are published at www.waterlust.org
