Every week we ask you to help us #spreadthelust (STL) and get more people stoked about having a Waterlust state of mind. This week's contest is focused on the theme "escape"
While some marine animals, such as whales, are endothermic (warm blooded), meaning they can regulate their own body temperature, many fish are ectothermic (cold blooded). This means that their body temperature fluctuates according to their surroundings. When these temperatures dip below what is optimum, they may escape to warmer waters. As winter drags on in many places in the northern hemisphere, we're guessing that many of you are also dreaming of an escape to somewhere warmer. Maybe some hot sand to sink your toes into, or the blue waters of the tropics.
For this week's theme, we want you to show us your aquatic escape, whether it be from the cold, work, or just the daily grind.
