I’ve had plenty of couples ask...what does a 7, 8, 9 hour elopement day even consist of? Let’s look at a sample 9 hour timeline in one of my favorite Alaska locations...
9AM - meet at cabin where couple is getting ready. End of prep time is photographed
10AM - drive to Hatcher Pass
11AM - arrive at Summit Lake / trailhead & start hiking up to ceremony spot 🥾
11:45AM - arrive at the top + take some time to soak in those epic views. Get ready for ceremony...
12:30PM - exchange vows!
12:45PM - MARRIED 🍾 Pop some champagne and celebrate
1PM - wander around the summit for some epic portraits 📸
2PM - Start hiking back down to Summit Lake
2:45PM - arrive back down at Summit Lake. Set up for...
3PM - picnic time! 🍕🌮
4PM - mini cake cutting 🍰
4:30PM - more wandering & portraits right at Summit Lake
5:15PM - Couple changes into swimsuits for...jumping in the lake!? 😉 & Final celebratory beers 🍻
6PM - Coverage wraps up
