Something that hit me hard was a quote “successful people are willing to fail”.
If you’ve seen A Cinderella Story with Hilary Duff (yes I’m aging myself but cmon Austin Ames was every girls prince let’s be real 😂) there’s a similar quote that says “don’t let the fear of striking out keep you from playing the game”; a similar but far cheesier rendition of this quote 😂😂.

Anyway! This quote hit me harder than normal because I, like many other creatives, have a Perfectionist side to them. This severely impacts everything I do and every choice I make and every photo I create.. you get the point. But it wasn’t until I thought about this more in depth that I realized what I have heard since *at least* 2004 when that movie came out (🤣) was that I truly cannot succeed until I have failed because FAILURE IS OUR MOST POWERFUL LEARNING TOOL💥

I don’t know about you but Hilary Duff learned a whole lot of lessons in that movie from being vulnerable and learning from the mistakes.

The point of this entire caption is that we all aren’t perfect and will never be and if we choose to be closer to success that will only come from our experiences, wins and failures alike.
