Some timeline help for planning your big day!
Everyone is different but here’s a rough outline of how much time you need to plan for with your wedding photography timeline.
Of course this is all an approximation, maybe your getting ready will be super quick, or maybe you have a lot of people in your wedding party and you want getting ready shots of them too!
Details: (invitations, rings, etc.) 30 mins.
Getting ready: 45 mins.
First look: 35 mins.
Wedding party portraits: 30 mins.
Ceremony: 30-40 mins.
Family portraits: 30 mins.
Reception: 2+ hours
Couples or sunset portraits: 30 mins.
Again, everyone is different and your timeline may be vastly different compared to someone who has a huge wedding day planned, vs. a small intimate elopement.
