One woman dies in Australia every 8 hours from ovarian cancer. Unlike breast and cervical cancers, there is no early detection test. Early stages of ovarian cancer have no obvious symptoms, resulting in most women being diagnosed in the advanced stages of the disease. Developing an early detection test will allow for early diagnosis, early treatment... and ultimately help save lives. The White Shirt Campaign’s mission is to raise much needed funds to support vital research endeavours to develop an early detection test for ovarian cancer as readily available and habitual as a pap smear or mammogram. For every White Shirt sold, Witchery will donate 100% of the gross proceeds to the OCRF.
