Sun,sand and sea is what makes me happy!!!What is happiness and what makes us happy?
I think that’s a question we will all ask ourselves at some stage in our life if not many times.
I know I certainly have and I have definitely asked myself that question more and more in the last few years and I am so glad that I have because it has really made me think more,dig deeper and really define what happiness is for me.
I know this next bit will sound simple or like a cliche.
But for me the more I thought about it and the deeper that I was digging inside myself and my mind,it really was enlightening and confirmed that simplicity and gratitude are the keys to my happiness.
Simple things make me happy.For me happiness is not owned,worn or consumed.
Happiness for me is living with grace,gratitude,kindness,simplicity and love.
Happiness is not about getting what you want and constantly chasing the next thing but being grateful and enjoying what I already have.
It’s not about how much I have but instead how much I enjoy what I do have.
That’s how I am trying to live my life these days and that attitude has changed my life and of course made me so much happier.
Sun,sand,sea,nature,sunrise and sunset are just a few simple things that fill my cup,make me so happy and grateful.
I was able to do some of that yesterday and I had the best day.
Woke up today so happy,satisfied and with so much gratitude.
Unbelievable what a bit of sun,sand,sea and lying on the beach listening to the waves can do.
Hope you can all find some happiness in some simple things as well.
