If you spend any time with us, you’ll hear about the benefits of wearing wool. Some of our favorites are its resistance to odors, its breathability, and its ability to regulate temperature. You’ll learn this if you take your merino out for a hike and break a sweat, or on your next long, seemingly unnecessarily air-conditioned flight.⠀ ⠀ Wool is incredibly good at regulating body temperature because it adsorbs (we had to Google that) moisture in the air, and a natural output of adsorption is heat. Combine that with the tiny air pockets formed by the crimped structure of merino wool, and you’ve got a small layer of warm insulation all around you. On the other side of the spectrum, if it’s hot enough for you to be sweating, wool is pulling that moisture from your skin up and outward. This has an evaporative cooling effect on your body, and keeps you dry and funk free.⠀ ⠀ #wearmerino #everydaymerino #powerofwool #capsulewardrobe #rethinkwool
