Missing Japan? gardensbythebay brought in a piece of #japan with peach and cherry blossom trees to celebrate Hanami ~ spring.
There’s also this interesting installation called Torii gate
which is a traditional Japanese gate, usually located at the entrance of Shinto shrines. It marks the transition from the profane to the sacred, though it is also sometimes simply used to denote a place that has deep religious meaning. It signals entrance into a hallowed space, and it is customary to bow one’s head before passing beneath it.

If you are wondering how to do get a clear shot in this photo? That’s because a kind soul started a queue system so that all of us can have a few moments free of people to get a good shot.
If not, usually we will wait for a minute of clearance and I will run into the frame for the shot, and then request the people around to spare me a minute. (Gotta be thick skin)
I usually only need 1 minute to capture my photo, so most people are happy to wait for me to finish the capture.
