When I started Yougi, I had just three candles in the range. I started making candles for myself at a particularly difficult time in my life, when I was struggling with burnout and exhaustion. I make the first range with the hope that it might help other people struggling with their emotional wellbeing too. I did not start my brand with any inkling it would grow as fast as it has.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

I made a conscious decision from the start to invest in sustainable, cruelty-free and wildcrafted ingredients 🌱because, despite often costing a lot more, they have been proven to be far more potent and effective (not to mention more environmentally friendly) than their mass-produced or synthetic equivalents. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
