Been getting lots of DMs about the upcoming WW1 movie '1917'. Trailer has been up for a few days, check it out. As far as what our thoughts are on it: First, glad someone is out there bringing WW1 to light. For those that have been following us for a while, the Great War is something that we try to bring on the feed pretty regularly, sharing some of the most brutal and fucked up first person accounts (yes, we are working on something special for all of you). As far as the movie itself, no idea if it's a true story or how accurate it is. Trailer looks decent, like a mix between Dunkirk and SPR. Effects and characters also look promising. Really do hope that they don't make this into some turn of the century Hurt Locker. Regardless, we'll most likely see it when it releases.
