Today is National Medal of Honor day, to no surprise, we at ZF always feel that it's just another day at the office for us since we constantly strive to showcase and bring to light the untold stories of our heroes on the daily basis.
Since its inception in 1861, the Medal of Honor has been awarded 3522 times, 19 men were awarded the Medal twice, 623 were awarded posthumously, countless of other individuals and their actions who merit still go unnoticed. It is the highest and most prestigious personal military decoration that may be awarded for valor..but there is something that holds even more value and that is our gratitude and appreciation for their sacrifice.
