Helge Meyer was a retired Danish Special Forces officer who took a fully modified 1979 Camaro in the heart of the Bosnian conflict during the 90s in order to deliver much needed medicine and supplies to civilians stuck in the war torn country. . With the help of the USAF, the War Camaro was fully armored and equipped with state of the art avoidance equipment, night vision, kevlar panels, IR absorbent paint, mine pusher, run flat fires, steel plate covered windows with peepholes, ground to air radio and a nitro system to put another 200hp on top of his 5.7L V8. During his missions, he developed a reputation among the locals, who would come out upon hearing the thunderous roar of the War Camaro. Roaming around the bombed out countryside came with its dangers, like catching an AK47 bullet to the dome and other close encounters. When asked what kind of weapon he had, he responded simply, “My Bible. No handguns, no grenades, nothing like that. My only weapon was my Bible.” #hard #musclecars #warcamaro #balls #stayzero #zerofoxtrot @sailorjerryjr
