On Sept 18th. 1944 Pfc. Arthur Jackson, along with the 1st Marine Devision was engaged in the bloody assault of Peleliu island.
During the assault, Jackson’s unit came under heavy fire from a large Japanese bunker along their route. He alone, crawled ahead to engage. Once in range, he charged the pillbox, raking it with automatic fire while discharging white phosphorus grenades and other explosives.
He was credited with killing all 35 occupants of the bunker.
He then proceeded to drag his massive balls to 11 other bunkers along the route and single handedly slayed all the occupants of each one; another 15 souls.
He was subsequently wounded both during the Peleliu campaign and again on Okinawa, for which he was awarded two Purple Hearts.
On October 5th 1945, President Harry S. Truman bestowed the Medal of Honor to Jackson at the White House for the “...annihilation of the enemy in the southern sector of the island...” Now, you know you're a skullfucker when the word annihilation is somewhere in your resume. #hardbreed #stayzero #zerofoxtrot #getsome #marines #usmc
