As many already know, John McCain passed away yesterday, 4 days shy from his 82nd birthday. He proudly served during the Vietnam War as a naval aviator, flying numerous combat missions deep into North Vietnam, earning him several medals for valor to include the Silver Star and Purple Heart. He spent over 5 and half years as a POW after being shot down over enemy territory, spending the majority of his captivity in the infamous Hanoi Hilton.
This is not about politics or different point of views, no one has to agree with someone else's logic..but it is important to show respect towards a humble man who has served and sacrificed for his country and fellow man.
We already know that the comment section is going to turn into a shit show because it's 2018 and everyone is an expert. Hopefully, some of you will be able to take a step back and show some decency towards someone who has endured more than most of us ever will. #restinpeace
