Skullfuckers of the 369th Infantry, also known as the Harlem Hellfighters, telling you to man the fuck up. The HH was one of the very first African American unit to see combat in France during WW1. The 369th soon became one of the most feared units in the Allied forces. Famous for never losing a trench, an inch of ground or a man to capture. They were nicknamed the "Harlem Hellfighters" by the Germans. Since over 70 percent of the unit hailed from Harlem, the name stuck. That wasn't the only nickname they earned during the war: The French were so impressed by their general badassery that they dubbed them the "Men of Bronze. The 369th spent 191 consecutive days on the front lines; seeing more action than any other American regiment. They were also the first Allied unit to reach the Rhine. While overseas the Hellfighters saw propaganda intended for them. It claimed that the Germans had done nothing wrong to blacks, and that they should instead be fighting against the Americans who had oppressed them for years. These statements only made the Hellfighters even more devoted to the U.S., making them one of the most highly decorated unit of the war, where over 100 men earned medals for Valor, to include 2 MOHs and many DSCs and Croix De Guerre.
