On this day, 11 years ago, myself and the bros would be landing in the cradle of civilization, heading into what was considered to be the most violent city in the world, Ramadi. The urban maze filled booby traps, snipers, skilled insurgents and destruction, would become our home, and for some, their final resting place. It was a place that would change many of us, even with prior experience. It seems like a lifetime ago when you lived with the sense of being constantly watched over by either God or the enemy.
