The good sense of coming back home and landing on friendly soil vanishes immediately when you're confronted with such a somber sight. This was taken during a memorial, shortly after returning from Iraq. It gives you a very realistic visual result of the sacrifices that have been made for people that love, hate, cherish and protest this country. The man in the front lines doesn't have opinions, only choices, right, wrong, good and bad...all made for the brother next to him.
