Photographer Catherine Leroy prepares for a combat jump with the 173rd AB during operation Junction City in 1967, making her the first accredited photographer of the war to jump in a combat zone. In 1968, during the Tet Offensive, Leroy was captured by the North Vietnamese Army. She managed to talk her way out (without pulling a Fonda) and emerged as the first newsperson to take photos of NVA Regulars behind their own lines. Besides balls and no fucks, she also took some of the most iconic photos of the conflict. #zerofucks #nofucks #stayzero #combat #badasschick
