A local veteran in Odessa, TX is handing these out to local businesses. Now, I'm not crazy about the open carry, not for ptsd reasons, but because some fucking twat is gonna get killed, arrested or get someone else killed or arrested because nice things don't last. There is always that "one" guy whose gonna try to bring a Barrett with more shit on a rail system that you can imagine (including a remote toilet seat lifter kit) and fuck it up for everyone. As far as the ptsd thing, everyone has different triggers, all traumas are independent for individuals. In all honesty, this only reinforces the stigma that vets with ptsd are some unbalanced crazy lunatics on the verge of mass executing everyone in sight. Ptsd is an issue, but it shouldn't be a label. The fuck heads who use it as a crutch, are the ones who come up with this in the first place. It's like, quit making us look like some soft handed my feelings are fragile species and do something about helping with ptsd, not setting boundaries. I madidate, go to therapy, smoke a joint once in a while, write my shit down and more. Face your fears, with the right help if needed, instead of hiding behind the ptsd curtain.
