Ok gents. This is official. Starting July 15th, 2015, Zero Foxtrot will begin donating a percentage of each sale to Movement 22. If you don't know about M22, it's now an official 501(c)3 Non-Profit Org, and their mission is to end the suicide rate within our ranks by providing a voice...a voice that says you're not alone. They connect veterans with other veterans in need of help when going through those dark moments. Their IG page @22toomany is constantly being updated with veteran info(name, phone numbers, email addresses, location) so that you can reach out and talk to someone who has been there at any time (you might even be surprised how many vets may live close to you and not even realize it). The funds will be used to pay for therapists, counselors, transportation costs and much more in order to let you know that you are not alone!
Our page has grown only because of you, and as a veteran operated entity, we have not forgetten where we came from and the silent battle that is being fought everyday..within ourselves.
They say the war is over because we are not on a distant battlefield fighting the enemy face to face, but few realize that a grimmer battle is being fought right now within each individual.
Just because we are out of the military, it doesn't mean that the brotherhood is not there. I know because I've personally contacted veterans through M22 when I was going through those dark moments and I'm glad I did. Asking for help is nothing to be ashamed of and who better to know what you feel than someone who has been there and truly knows.
