As we welcome spring, we’re slowly transitioning to a season of blossoming into new horizons. We’re shedding our winter layers and opening up our sense of renewal. Perhaps you’re visiting a new city for the first time, taking up a new hobby, reconnecting with nature. I hope you find a fresh perspective and carry it with you throughout the next three months.
This image of Babette will always remind me of growing up in Belgium where the sweet blue and purple toned hyacinths bring with them the first signs of spring. Here in California, it is the season for the gray whales who take the long journey North from Baja California to Alaska, right in the waters behind where Babette sits.
Wherever you are, I invite you to take time to watch what’s happening in nature. It’s showing us that change is beautiful and exciting.
